About Rani

Rani Hughes is a Master Trainer for the Tai Chi for Health Institute and an Occupational Therapist.

 

She has devoted 25 years to learning Tai Chi from world-leading Tai Chi and Qi Gong Masters, including Professor Lun Wong, Dr Paul Lam,

Master Liu Deming, and Madam Chen.

​

Rani passion for teaching Tai Chi has taken her across Australia and around the world, including New Zealand, South Korea and Sri Lanka. She has trained hundreds of health and fitness professionals to teach tai chi to people with chronic health conditions.

 

Her many years as an occupational therapist in the mental health sector and in falls prevention informs her teaching to provide enjoyable, supportive and inclusive sessions.

What is Tai Chi?

Tai Chi is an ancient art for our modern world, originating in ancient China and now practiced around the world. It is easy to learn, but also offers the potential for great depth of knowledge and for many continues as a lifelong journey.

What is Qi Gong?

Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese exercise that gently moves and balances the body’s energy. This mind body practice is simple to learn and suitable for all levels of ability.
